This Christmas season, I want to take a few moments and share something that is very sacred and dear to me – my testimony of Jesus Christ. This is not an attempt to preach or convert. I truly respect those of all beliefs, as well as those who believe there is nothing more after this earthly life.

My faith has gotten me through some pretty tough times in my life and I would feel remorse if I didn’t acknowledge the deep gratitude I have for that faith and the undoubting awareness that there exists something higher than myself.

I have turned to Him in my darkest hours and he has answered my prayers. I must admit sometimes they are not answered as I would like, but I know in my heart that it is “His Will Be Done.” Those four words have given me much comfort throughout my life.

We all have trials and challenges in this life. Our journey often presents different forks in the road, and we must choose. Will the choice be the easy one where we just glide through life, or will we take a leap of faith and choose the one less traveled on?

I believe through humble prayer that there is something greater than ourselves, and that we will reach that place where we will one day reunite with Him.

I never said it would be easy… I only said it would be worth it.
